Orange wine is a type of white wine made by leaving the grape skins and seeds in contact with the juice for an extended period during fermentation. This process is similar to how red wines are made, but instead of using red or black grapes, orange wine is typically produced from white grape varieties. The skin contact gives the wine an amber or orange hue, as well as a more robust, tannic structure and complex flavors.
