Thorne and Daughters Rocking Horse by John Secombe - 30% Roussanne, 28% Chenin Blanc, 20% Chardonnay, 15% Semillon and 7% Clairette Blanche. A complex, textural white.
Momento Chenin Blanc/Verdelho by Marelise Niemann - an ever-popular wine. Taut and energetic in youth, but fleshes out with age.
Lourens Family Lindi Carien by Franco Lourens - Chenin/Verdelho and Grenache Blanc. Rich core of yellow fruit backed by electric acidity.
Thistle and Weed Khakibos by Stephanie Wiid and Etienne Terblanche - Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Albarinho, Palomino and Fernao Peres seamlessly blended to create a richly fruited wine with a refreshing acid backbone.
Anysbos Disdit also made by Marelise for Johan and Sue Heyns - Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne. I absolutely loved 2021 and it's developed beautifully. This 2023 is sure to follow suit.
