Raar Grenache Noir from a Kasteelberg vineyard was fermented in open top stainless steel tanks with 20% whole bunches and 15% juice extraction (to decrease juice to skin ratio). After extended skin contact it was pressed to old 500l oak barrels for 7 months prior to bottling. Only 4 barrels were produced by the Riebeek Valley Wine Co.
