Strandveld Adamastor is a complex blend of Semillon(56%) and Sauvignon Blanc (44%). Fruit is grown on the wind-swept Agulhas Plain and as such the wine shows nuanced notes of bees wax, honey, sea-spray, rich citrus and appealing salinity. Ages beautifully for up to 6 years from vintage. The Sauvignon Blanc is cold fermented in stainless steel while the Semillon is fermented and matured (10 months) in 500l French Oak barrels.
