Elmie Pinotage Rose

Husband and wife, Etienne and Lizanda Terblanche, set out to showcase a side of Pinotage that is not considered the norm. This is his Pinotage rose made from 2 vineyards, 1 Helderberg planted in 1974, the 2nd Simonsberg planted in 1980. The grapes undergo gentle whole bunch pressing before natural fermentation in a combination of stainless steel and oak vats, followed by ageing on the lees for ten months before bottling. Soft and delicate with a long refreshing finish.
