Strandveld
Navigator 2022

A cool-climate wine from the Agulhas Plain – windswept and maritime. Strandveld Navigator is a blend of 73% Syrah, 15% Grenache Noir, 6% Mourvedre and 6% Viognier. A portion of the Syrah, plus the Grenache and Viognier, was co-fermented in open-top fermenter with daily punch downs. The rest of the Syrah, plus the Mourvedre, was fermented in stainless steel. The wine was matured in French oak for 20 months (30% new).
