Olifantsberg Old Vine Chenin Blanc


The farm is located on the slopes of the Brandwacht Mountains near Rawsonville. Natural fermentation took place in a 5000 litre French oak cask, some 2000 litre French oak foudre, seasoned barrels and stainless steel tanks. The use of different vessels meant different expressions of the Chenin Blanc fruit. The wine was aged for 9 months on the lees. Hints of green apple and white pear with a soft, gentle feel.
