The fruit is grown organically near Prieska in the Northern Cape and transported to Stellenbosch for vinification. Yes, the label’s pretty, but the wine is pretty darn fine too. It is a blend of Syrah, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot naturally fermented (some whole bunch). Fresh berries and mint leaves followed by dark chocolate covered almonds. Long aftertaste of geranium, caramelised marshmallow and lingering white pepper.
