The fruit is grown organically near Prieska in the Northern Cape and transported to Stellenbosch for vinification. Yes, the label’s pretty, but the wine is pretty darn fine too. It is a blend of Syrah, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot naturally fermented (some whole bunch). The final blend was selected from 2018 and 2019 harvests and blended. Fresh berries and mint leaves followed by dark chocolate covered almonds. Long aftertaste of geranium, caramelised marshmallow and lingering white pepper.
