A few new additions to our selection:

Lowerland Colombard MCC 2016

From organic grapes farmed near Prieska by Bertie Coetzee. The wine was made by JD Pretorius (Steenberg). Fermented in old oak and then matured for 6 months prior to secondary bottle fermentation. It spent 14 months on the lees. Perfectly balanced and refreshing it shows the vibrant and lovely colombard fruit tamed by high natural acidity. R246.00

Fram Shiraz 2017 by Thinus Kruger (CEO, President, Winemaker, grape crusher)

From a selection of vineyards around the Swartland, combining barrels from the granite sands in the Paardeberg with those from wines that came from the koffieklip soils west of Malmesbury. It shows lively red fruit with hints of aniseed and smoke. A sleek, satin-like palate with red cherry notes and a fine, grippy finish leaving you wanting  more. R147.00

Dancho Luka Little Trooper Chenin blanc 2017

A whopper by Lukas van Loggerenberg and Danie Carinus. Dense white fruit, incredible grip supporting a succulent core and great length. R198.00

Maanschijn Kolonel Mostert en die Twee Souties 2017

By 2  “Souties”, Doug Mylrea and Paul Hoogwerf, from grapes grown by Farmer Mostert. No additions except for a little sulphur at bottling (natural wine). Pretty, floral notes developing more crunchy red fruit as it opens. A delicious red! This pic is of Paul and Doug in their  cellar (from their facebook page). Just 2 guys having fun and making cracker wines in the process. R234.00
