Sijnn Trincadeira 2013 (aka Tinta Amarello) from Malgas. An absolute winner! A nose showing floral, spice, smoke, fruit gets you salivating. A soft palate with plenty of plum and mulberry fruit . Although accessible now, this will be awesome in about 2 years.

Lomond Pincushion Sauvignon Blanc 2014 from Elim. Starting to open up now, this is a great example of what the region’s Sauvignons are capable of. It is well-balanced and has an incredibly long finish. Also, the delish SSV, a blend of sauv blanc, semillon & viognier.

Maanschijn Easy Tiger Grenache Gris 2017 from Voor-Paardeberg fruit. A rich, textural wine – yellow fruit backed by spice and fresh herbs. Skin contact
